This morning on my normal walking route, I noticed something new. I was looking at someone’s driveway. A normal, non-descript driveway. But I saw something I’d never noticed before in all the times I’d passed that way. Where the upper part of the driveway meets the sidewalk, there is a small diagonal line at either edge. (I could hypothesize why it is there, but that’s a different post.) As I continued my walk, I noticed that was the standard design on all the driveways in the neighborhood. Yet, until today, I had never seen it!
What might be hidden in plain sight in your every day life? I’m sure this simple driveway design revision was developed for a reason. What might you already have at hand or in your environment that provides a solution, or at least an option, for your question?
