My primary passion is helping people discover who they are and why they are here. I started out doing this quite accidentally. I had a conversation with a friend that he said was really helpful. I couldn’t even remember the conversation. But apparently it was so helpful that he asked me if I would talk to a friend of his who wanted to make a job transition.
I think that each us has a deep seated motivation about life that influences what we think is important and how we go about it. Some people call it purpose, passion, or simply your “why.” If we are aware of that motivation, we can make life choices that align with it. Generally, when we do, we make a greater contribution to the world and feel more fulfilled.
What surprises me is that some people have never thought about those questions. They go through the motions of the standard path that someone else has set out for them. Or they go the creative path of doing something different. But at the core, they haven’t thought about what gets them excited about life and what really makes them tick.
In this series we will think about your why, your hows, your what, your who, and movement in the right direction to becoming who you are.
